Polavaram Adani Data Center

 The Polavaram Project is expected to generate 960 MW of hydropower from its 12 units of 80 MW each. The project is being developed by Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) and utilizes the Godavari River's water through the use of Kaplan turbines. This clean, renewable energy is a key component of the larger, multi-purpose irrigation project in Andhra Pradesh.

The Polavaram Left Bank Canal's discharge capacity is 17,500 cubic feet per second (\(500\,m^{3}/s\)) at the headworks. It is part of a larger project that aims to divert Godavari water for irrigation and other uses. Discharge: 17,500 cubic feet per second (\(500\,m^{3}/s\)).Purpose: To provide irrigation to the upland areas of East and West Godavari districts and supply water to Visakhapatnam.Length: The Left Main Canal is approximately 182 kilometers (113 miles) long.Navigation: It also includes a provision for navigation.
